BATON ROUGE, La. — In the chaos that was Causeway Boulevard, this group of refugees stood out: a 6-year-old boy walking down the road, holding a 5-month-old, surrounded by five toddlers who followed him around as if he were their leader.
They were holding hands. Three of the children were about 2 years old, and one was wearing only diapers. A 3-year-old girl, who wore colorful barrettes on the ends of her braids, had her 14-month-old brother in tow. The 6-year-old spoke for all of them, and he told rescuers his name was Deamonte Love.

second post
ok, my second post worked. now to the meat and bones. speaking of which, i just ate at YC's tonight, mongolian BBQ kicks ass.
on a more serious note, i just cant help to wonder what the fuck is going on with the world sometimes. After reading the news these past few weeks it seems like a lot is going to shit. I mean, the last time I heard good news.... something actually progressive to society was when the law kicked in allowing me to change my wireless provider and keep my same number. now thats progress! shit. I mean people are shooting each other next to rotting corpses in New Orleans. we are finally getting the dog and pony show from the government a week later. all for an event that had been predicted to occur....... sounds like, I dunno you tell me. One of the reasons why the catastrophe was so bad- to pay for the war in Iraq- in search of WMD's. mission accomplished...i need explain no further. It's a travesty with hard questions... that wont be answered. And thats just the tip.
I cant believe Chief Justice R. died. Actually I can, he was an old dude with cancer. What I cant believe is that George W gets to pick another supreme court nominee to that will direct the nation for the next 40 years.
If there's one thing i've learned in life- everything affects you, the question is do you notice.

actually, this is a lie. I thought this was my first post, but when i tried creating a new account... well I already had one. Another drunken evening it would seem. Well I better keep this short before I bore myself, cause i think that has already happend. I dont expect anyone to read this except for me, or someone who might for some reason be interested in the crazy interworkings of a drunkn 23 year old. im not that drunk, ok, but enough it would seem. enough it would seem to keep saying it would seem. ok lets try my first post.
