You should be scared shitless
The happy-go-lucky Republican party is gearing to remind America that they should be scared shitless. They will soon be running new television ads which you can now see on their website, www.gop.com.
"The ad portrays Osama bin Laden and quotes his threats against America dating to February 1998. "These are the stakes," the ad concludes. 'Vote November 7.'"
These are the stakes America. The Republican party wants to remind you that six years after the terrorist attacks.... after catching Osama bin Laden.... after disarming Sadam of weapons of mass destruction.... after liberation of Afghanistan and Iraq to peaceful societies... after boldly circumventing traditional freedoms of Americans for the sake of our whole.... after selfless worldwide shaming of suspects for the sake of intelligence... after 2,700+ American soldiers died and over 20,000+ injured... and after over $335 billion spent......... You should still be scared shitless- Republicans are in control. Vote November 7th.

Big boxes say "We suck at getting it right"
It has been in the news the past few weeks, big box retailer Walmart has been pressuring movie studios to not provide too much competition, because they are worried about digital download sales.
Target has just jumped on the bandwagon, sending a letter to movie studios stating that if upstarts (i.e. iTunes) start selling downloadable flicks at better prices, they will consider cutting back on their commitment to DVD retailing.
You know what I would say if I were the movie studios- FU.
This is wholeheartedly ridicuolous. DVD's and an iTunes movie download are completely different products. To expect that one would receive the same price for a packaged, higher definition, special feature, inventory consuming product as a digital download is stupid. It's just stupid people. To threaten cutting back sales just shows how inept large companies can become.
